Cheeks

The cheeks are a very important feature of the face and the mid-face region (below the eyes to the lips) can often show the first signs of aging. As we age, the fat pads that form the cheeks can deflate and move down the face, exacerbating the naso-labial folds and sometimes the tear trough area. The cheek muscles redistribute, and the cheek bones begin to change structure. Enhancing the mid-face is often the foundation in facial rejuvenation and can improve so many other areas just by treating this alone.

Having your cheeks treated with dermal filler can give you a beautiful and very natural looking lift to your face and therefore addressing the issue of aging, helping you to look more youthful. Dermal fillers injected into the mid-face add contour, shape, volume and structure to the face.

Having this treatment is very safe, but as with everything, it does carry some risks, which include but are not limited to, redness and swelling, bruising, and although rare, infection. Other rare complications can occur, and these will be discussed with you at time of consultation.
